Descripción

CI4MS is a CodeIgniter 4-based CMS skeleton that delivers a production-ready, modular architecture with RBAC authorization and theme support. Prior to version 0.31.0.0, the application fails to properly sanitize user-controlled input within System Settings – Company Information. Several administrative configuration fields accept attacker-controlled input that is stored server-side and later rendered without proper output encoding. This issue has been patched in version 0.31.0.0.

Cuando Trivy califica esta vulnerabilidad como crítica para la fuente de paquetes de la image, aparece por su nombre en los findings de la image. Los findings sin corrección quedan fuera salvo que includeUnfixed esté activado.

RechazaCon una policy que bloquea los findings críticos, un pod con esta image se rechaza en la admission, incluido un rollback a ella. Los pods que ya están en marcha no se desalojan.
RegistraCada decisión se guarda con la policy que se aplicó y su hash, y se sella bajo un checkpoint firmado.
