Descripción

libxmljs2 is vulnerable to a type confusion vulnerability when parsing a specially crafted XML while invoking the namespaces() function (which invokes XmlNode::get_local_namespaces()) on a grand-child of a node that refers to an entity. This vulnerability can lead to denial of service and remote code execution.

EncuentraCada image admitida se vuelve a escanear cada 24 horas por defecto (scan.rescanInterval). Cuando Trivy califica esta vulnerabilidad como crítica para la fuente de paquetes de la image, aparece por su nombre en los findings de la image. Los findings sin corrección quedan fuera salvo que includeUnfixed esté activado.

RechazaCon una policy que bloquea los findings críticos, un pod con esta image se rechaza en la admission, incluido un rollback a ella. Los pods que ya están en marcha no se desalojan.
