Descripción

A Insufficiently Protected Credentials vulnerability in SUSE Rancher allows authenticated Cluster Owners, Cluster Members, Project Owners and Project Members to read credentials, passwords and API tokens that have been stored in cleartext and exposed via API endpoints. This issue affects: SUSE Rancher Rancher versions prior to 2.6.4; Rancher versions prior to 2.5.13.

EncuentraCada image admitida se vuelve a escanear cada 24 horas por defecto (scan.rescanInterval). Cuando Trivy califica esta vulnerabilidad como crítica para la fuente de paquetes de la image, aparece por su nombre en los findings de la image. Los findings sin corrección quedan fuera salvo que includeUnfixed esté activado.
AvisaUn evento critical_finding va a los canales suscritos a él: e-mail, Slack, Teams, un webhook, Jira, GitLab o GitHub.
RechazaCon una policy que bloquea los findings críticos, un pod con esta image se rechaza en la admission, incluido un rollback a ella. Los pods que ya están en marcha no se desalojan.
RegistraCada decisión se guarda con la policy que se aplicó y su hash, y se sella bajo un checkpoint firmado.
